The Air-vent is a radial fan with single-entry air intake
and backward curved blades. The entire drive unit is supported
by compressed
spring-type shock absorbers and allows adjustment of the nozzle
gap for exact adjustment of the setpoint. The three-phase
A.C. motor corresponds to type B, thus ensuring full motor
protection by means of a PTC resistor.

| The
impeller is placed directly on the motor shaft (taper lock spring
collet). The
fan unit can be removed at the side of the air-conditioner and
is equipped with a transport safety locking device. The fan's
performance data are documented by a TÜV-certified performance
curve (max. design deviation +/- 5%) |

Available
accessories
Closed circular tubing, direct reading pressure gauge, frequency
transformer and grille (see picture) are available as accessories.
The latter consists of zinc-coated steel sheets with punched
in oblong perforations to provide an unobstructed view of
the fan unit. Design in conformance with accident prevention
regulations (UVV).
