Warm air units with condensation technology combine the advantages of warm air heaters , such as short heating-up times and low energy consumption, with the convenience of air conditioners and ventilators.

Since heating output and air output stand together in a fixed ratio, the areas of application of this species of machine become even more extensive. They can be installed indoors or outdoors.

A combination of different air treatment components such as filters, sound absorbers and humidifiers allows us to create very comfortable hall heating systems.

Equipped with a corrosion-proof heat exchanger, condensating warm air heaters make use of latent warmth in the combustion air for heating. This process, comparable to condensing technology, ensures that the units are even more economical, especially during partial load operation.

Modern modulating burners whose output can be regulated from between 3 and 100% feed the fresh air flow with just the right amount of warmth needed to keep to tighter temperature limits.

AL-KO warm air heaters are available as standing or horizontal models. The exact design of the model depends on the special needs of each object. Outputs are comparable to outputs of fresh air units.

Size Heat output Air output
10 50-70 kW 4.000-8.000 m³/ h
20 70-150 kW 6.000-14.000 m³/ h
30 120-180 kW 10.000-18.000 m³/ h
50 150-275 kW 15.000-27.000 m³/ h
70 200-440 kW 25.000-42.000 m³/ h
100 400-640 kW 40.000-65.000 m³/ h
150 500-850 kW 60.000-90.000 m³/ h

These units operate on gas. Oil burners are not suitable for condensing operation due to the fact that the sulphur contained in the oil combined with water forms an extremely aggresive acid.
