filter media are sensitive to abrasion and must therefore
be cleaned as gently as possible.
Improper
mechanical treatment, including incorrect washing will damage
and roughen the surface. If you wash a filter in a rotary
washing machine, the filter media must be sufficiently protected
from friction with the cylinder walls. To protect them properly,
place filters in very large bags made of an open-structured
fabric. Always follow the steps listed below:
